I began working as a PA and stager in 2010 while studying production design. I hustled in a few different areas to support myself including in both Education and Costumes at San Francisco Opera, as well as assisting Jeff Berg at Cannes Film Festival after his launch of the agency Resolution.
After graduating university, I chased after a bicoastal career in film and television between my native San Francisco Bay Area and New York City. I began my career coordinating productions, events, and personal lives of artists in film, tv, and Broadway. Alternating between The Anna Deavere Smith Projects, Complexions Contemporary Ballet, The Juilliard School's Creativity Labs, NBCUniversal's Short Film Fest, and Joe's Pub at the Public Theater, I coordinated for artists such as Alan Cumming, Sienna Miller, Amanda Palmer, Lance Horne, Justin Vivian Bond, and more. I was also an audience coordinator for live television including The View, Jimmy Kimmel Live, Best Time Ever with Neil Patrick Harris, and Jay Z’s Tidal X Barclays concert.
These were formative years where I worked as many as five jobs to support myself and my craft financially as I grew, and so that I could take risks and choose the types of stories and projects I want to see. I remain passionate about telling the stories of LGBTQIA+ communities, racial justice issues, and facilitating dialogue for change.
Current related roles involve my participation as Director of Operations for NYC Queer Voices Film Festival.

A strong sense of community makes our industry successful. Building community takes time, effort, and opportunity. To foster the next generation of filmmakers, I participate in filmmaker panels, actively mentor emerging artists, and provide them any available pipelines for growth.
At the Academic level, I’ve worked in roles guiding students at NYU, Juilliard, Manhattan Marymount College, San Francisco Opera, SF Bay Area public schools, and Academy of Art University. I’ve worked with filmmakers, actors, dancers, musicians, and all types of creative artists.
Mentors who have guided me on my journey include (but are not limited to): Anna Deavere Smith, Diane Baker, Kris Boxell, Peg McClellan, Susie Alegria, Michael Nallan, Jackie Brown, and Lori Schiff.
Both the Television Academy and the Set Decorators Society of America foster and nurture community amongst members. I am proud to participate in their events where I can learn from, grow with, and support my peers.
If you are interested in mentorship opportunities with me, guest panel speaking engagements, masterclasses, or academic course guidance, please reach out to me via the contact form on the bottom of the page.

Some of the ways I balance my time and lifestyle outside of work include:
Routine road trips (I’ve done three cross country treks in the last year), bouldering, nature hikes, and chasing waterfalls with my Shetland sheepdog Guapo.
I continue to practice my DIY skill sets and pursue applicable hobbies to set decoration and interior design. Getting my forklift license was an exciting recent adventure to help move all the steel decks and fake trees we use, and I’m just beginning to enter the world of lamp making!
A memorable poster from a high school teacher’s class that continues to stick with me said, “You’re either green and growing or you’re ripe and rotting.” Well… I’m green and growing!
See it in ACTION.

Let’s create something beautiful together.
